Resource Profile:
Resource will be designing the most innovative digital experiences in the tech product space with a focus on web & mobile Apps. The resource will be experienced in end-to-end user experience design, illustrate an ability to apply strategic thinking and business goals to all design work, and possess a keen understanding of interaction design patterns and trends in multiple domain like IoT, e-commerce, trading, analytics etc. if needed the UI/UX designer may have to work closely with several cross-functional teams of other enterprises including but not limited to their product management, visual design and marketing teams.
Qualifications – MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a foreign equivalent four year Engineering degree in any discipline required.
- Acquired special skills - by working on projects hands-on; projects that contained large scale microservices architecture, API modelling, hardware and software limited environments, financial systems like trading engines, payment processors etc.
- Tech product startup experience is preferred with deep understanding of how the “build-release-measure” feedback loop method is used in product engineering.
- Experience developing, launching and supporting at least 2 major tech products from scratch to early user traction and possibly to venture capital funding round.
- Experienced in end-to-end user experience design with uncanny ability to apply strategic thinking and business goals to all design work, and possess a deep understanding of interaction design patterns and trends in the following domains : IoT, e-commerce, trading, analytics
- Experience attending tech product accelerators as an individual or as part of a team.
- Attendance at prominent/ international workshops on IT consumer products, UX/UI etc.
Skills & Experience required
- Minimum 5 years' UX/Interaction Design experience, preferably in IoT, e-commerce, smarthome, security, search, digital trading engine etc. is required.
- Experience in interaction design, user interface design, design of IoT devices, smarthome control panels, trading platforms and web and mobile app experience design is required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work experience in the field of IoT, e-commerce, smarthome, security, search, digital trading engine etc. is required.
- Strong interactive prototyping skills.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, familiarity with usability research methods.
- Experience developing both low and high fidelity wireframes and page schematics.
- Ability to work in an interative and incremental way to achieve long-term goals.
- Solid understanding of web & mobile design and development process, including the technologies used to deliver web & mobile technology experiences.
- Analytical experience with complex systems to determine potential for further development, production, interoperability, compatibility, or usefulness in particular areas, such as smart consumer appliances, IoT, web and mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, point of sale devices, complex trading engines etc.
- Understand the feasibility of different designs and performance implications.
- Experience using design and prototyping tools like : Sketch, Invision, Marvel and Balsamiq, flow preparation tools like Mindmeister, UI and event analytics platforms like Hotjar and Amplitude etc. is required.
- Full understanding & experience of working with microservices architecture in building large scale systems is expected.
- Must have the capability to model basic abstractions of API’s that form parts of a product flow with a clear understanding of their effect on end users.
- Experience in building IoT & e-commerce products which have strong and deep web systems and services on the backend is a expected.
- Experience working team customers in US, Europe, Asia is preferred.
- Should have worked with collaboration platforms like Slack, project management software like JIRA & Basecamp etc.
